New here...

I've been lurking on these boards for the last couple weeks. Used to drive around in a 2004 WRX before my wife totalled her car. Traded in the WRX for our current car (2011 Outback), but itching to get power under my foot again. So, I decided to go American Muscle for my next car. Particularly, a 2011 IOM/IOM 2SS/RS.

Anyhow, I got 1.99% APR on our 2011 Outback, but the threads I've read about financing these rides seem to indicate that Chevy isn't offering anything that low.

Anyone know why? Is it because of where GM sits financially?

GM doesn't have to offer a financial incentive on a car that moves off the lots like the Camaro. Incentives tend to come out of the need to move inventory, and GM is doing just fine.

I purchased the 2011 Outback from a Chevy/Subaru dealership, and they weren't overly stocked with 2011 Outbacks. So, I'm not sure if that holds true here.

However, as I don't know what the production numbers look like for the Outback compared to the Camaro, I'll accept your answer.

Thanks!

Edit: I guess I should mention that I don't see these all over the road here in Seattle. I have probably seen 10 or so in the last couple years (that I recall).
