Dealer copied me a brochure for the Camaro

Went to see my dealer yesterday and he told me that they all went to some classes last week with the Eastern Sales Manager for GM for our Camaro. They were told that the CGM constraint was off and they were up to full production numbers now cranking out as many as the factory could handle. No overtime though on Saturdays according to him. But my salesman copied the brochure they had in Raleigh for me and I picked it up. It's about 30 pages and has some really good info like comparing it to the other muscle cars out and explaining all about the car. I'm even more excited now. Ill try to post some pics on here. If I forget I can email em to anyone that wants to see..........

Your dealer lied.

And that brochure is training material, not Customer brochure material. It's already on the internet, and post it again, the herd of GM lawyers will be knocking at your door too!

Well, his dealer has a habit of it....He should just delete his dealer's emails....so far nothing accurate out of him....Next he'll be offering him prime real estate in Florida!

And GM has stepped up their power on GM related media and property. Just ask any dealer who watched the IDL last Friday.....6 Minutes of NEW Warnings!!!

That's all fine and dandy, but according to Fbodfather, GM can't tell dealers what to do due to franchise laws, so who's going to stop dealer from doing anything they're not supposed to?

Gees......just thought I could help out. How do you know if I haven't even posted pics yet that its not the actual brochure. Seems like all dealers are being the same way mine is from all the posts I've seen here. We are all clueless and just trying to help each other out......not attack each other for it. Whatever happened to the people being polite and helpful thing we all had on here. Everyone attacks everyone else for just trying to be nice. I don't need to be told that GM lawyers will be at my door if I'm a CUSTOMER........what are they gonna do sue me for wanting to buy a car from them that they are slacking off so much on. When it should have been here like 3 years ago. Sorry if Im excited like the rest of us and just wanted to help others who have asked to see such a brochure.

Wasn't meant to look like an attack, but people really need to use common sense posting anything from a salesman...And the SALESMAN should be using their head handing certain things out - they tend to get fired for it, and it has happened here AT LEAST once.

I know exactly what brochure you're referring to - I have seen it all. It is the SALES TRAINING Guide. There ARE no Customer brochures out yet. Save yourself some trouble, trust me, the stuff eventually gets posted (this already has)...but people watch these threads, you mentioned your dealership in previous posts, and your salesman wouldn't be too hard to track down.

Why would no customer brochures be out yet if the cars are already on the way? Just wondering, it doesnt make any sense...

Because of final specs....the changes to the HP....and the crash testing ratings, EPA that was just announced about two weeks ago....all things they put in the standard model brochure.. The SHOULD have them in May (so I'm told).

This is a bit different. It's GM copyrighted confidential material. They certainly can dealers that they cannot share it. That's very different than telling a dealer how much he has to sell a car for.

From the Camaro training site.... "Brochures should arrive in stores by the third week in April." Should start seeing them this week

This type of reliable information is the primary reason why CamaroScotty will probably be my dealer when the time comes.
