Attention v6 haters...

Every day I log on to this website to see what is new in the world of the Camaro, and to look for ideas on how to modify my 2012 LFX V6, and every day I get to read post after post of people hating on/making fun of/bringing down the V6 version of the fifth generation Camaro.

I like my car. It’s what I could afford, and it’s still a fast/fun car to drive. To put the 2012 323 HP V6 in perspective, I gathered stock HP numbers from the history of the Camaro. All numbers are from Wikipedia.

Taking a look as these numbers, why do us V6 guys have to endure so much from the V8 guys when this is the most
powerful V6 ever put in a Camaro? A V6 that isn’t an afterthought. A V6 that is extremely capable and more powerful than a lot of the V8s found under the hood of older Camaros.

Just something to think about.

I went to a local car gathering yesterday here in Orlando. There were 11 5th gen in total, of the 11 I was the only V6 there and I stood proud! I spoke with many of the 10 SS owners and they could not have been nicer to me. This was the 1st time I went to a car event (so I was a bit nervous) but could not believe how friendly the SS guys were and how they welcomed me.

some people just like to make others feel bad? lol i dont know why, but ive owned both, v6 and now a v8, love both of them the same...incredible cars. the v6 is plenty fast and theres v6s on here that look absolutely killer

I love my LS V6 also, It was in my budget and I paid cash. Having no car payment on my dream car is all I could ever want.

Anybody who drives a v8 that disses a v6 driver for driving a v6 clearly has confidence issues, and the same goes for a v6 driver that makes his car out to be better than it is so those people and what they say are not to worry about. I do think my v6 is on the slow side but I like the way it looks and I drive it >135 miles/day.... or else I would have a v8. But I don't care if others bash it.

Oh yeah, and I drove a Prius before I had this car....I had all kinds of haters hating...it was funny.
