What happens to the CTF Camaros?
Test vehicles when they are done testing? Do they sell them or ?
They should be about done, seeing as the 2010 is released... Thanks for any info... |

The same place where EV1's go... the crusher...
They will probably be sold as collectors and or used as demo's. I don't know if you can get a normal title for one if that's what your thinking. |

Well some probably won't be crushed like that Dale Jr one that's been shown. You just have to tow it on a trailer as a show toy.

Most will be sold at a special GM auction to dealers to sell, etc. The rest will remain in GM for long term desting and future development.

Some IVERs also wind up being given to race shops in order to be converted into race cars. I've seen the Ford equivalent of an IVER Shelby GT500 at a prominent Grand Am shop. You have to have the right connections to get one, but the automakers all have storage facilities with cars that are completed with testing which haven't been crushed yet.

I was told by a GM employee at the Atl Auto Show that some of the CTF cars will be brought up to factory production specs with actual production parts, etc. Then they can be assigned VIN #s and sold as used dealer program cars.

VINs are not changed. In some cases parts may be retrofit for updates to the very latest where need be.
Intent is they will all be sold at auction.
