Key Stuck In Ignition
Within the past couple days when I turn off my car the key will not come out of the ignition and is stuck. Turning the wheel doesn't help at all and I had to keep turning the car on and off until the key would budge. Well today when I got home I put my car in park and doors unlocked, everything was normal. When I took my foot off the brake the car started reversing and then I heard a click and the car physically stopped (Actually went into park even though that's what it was in?). So my question is wtf is happening and I just wanted to let you guys know or for anyone else that has had a similar issue.

Sounds like the car isn't shifting into. Park completely so the key will not release. I'm sure it's mostly likely an adjustment.
Bring it back to the dealer Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Dealership said it's an issue they are aware of apparently and had a service bulletin on it. Replaced the parking actuator and things appear to be running smooth.

is this parking actuator located at the base of the shifter which locks it into park. That is where I have an on/off issue. there is an electrical connection to the ignition. at times I have to flick the park release a few times before key is released.

I just ran into the same issue. I'm sure the dealer will blame the key recall and have me do it (I've been telling them no) but I'll be sure to mention the parking actuator.

I recently had the same problem at 29k miles. I thought it had something to do with the steering wheel lock however I soon realized it was with the gear shift.(L99) The dealer confirmed and ended up replacing the Transmission Control(B10D03) The cost for the Transmission Control would have been $236.63 had it not been covered under warranty.
