2015 Chevy Camaro Headlight Bulbs

Hey what's up everyone? I want to replace my 2015 Chevrolet Camaro LS V6 headlight bulbs to a blue/whiteish color about 8000K, I don't want to go higher than 10000K. I'm thinking about getting a conversion HID kit but I'm a little skeptical about the flickering and what not, once bitten and twice shy. I know I need a H11LL bulb, does anyone know any bulbs I can buy that's about 8000 Kelvin and that has a long life span. What does everyone think? Thanks.

HID conversion on your housings would be a HUGE mistake. Aside from being illegal, the reflectors will scatter the light everywhere and blind the crap out of everyone. You can install projectors in those housings and THEN convert to HID and it would work.
I installed some aftermarket bulbs in mine- don't recall what color temp etc, but I don't buy cheap bulbs- they're either Hella, Nokya or possibly PIAA... I just don't remember. Remember that when buying a bulb with blue tint on the capsule it's just letting out less light in exchange for the color. I'd suggest just getting the projectors and a GOOD quality HID kit.

check out theretrofitsource.com, email the guys with what you have and what you want, and they'll hook you up. i got my complete kit for less than $300 during a sale. it's a bit of work, but better to do it right, and the 8000K projectors look amazing.

If you can it's much better to install factory HID's along with a 5th gen diy harness and get the harness that makes it just like an RS equipped car. Either that or don't get crazy with the headlights and just install a better bulb. On my wife's Equinox we just went to the Silverstars and it was enough of a change. Going Silverstar Ultra or ZXE would probably be the best bang for the buck off your stock headlamps.
