ZL1 Grille - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Anyone else besides me like the ZL1 grille and would want to see it redone to hold an SS or RS in the corner?

Think it would look pretty good with that and painted black. Thoughts?

+1 here. I've been thinking about that ever since I saw the new grill design on the yellow ZL1. Hopefully it'll be available through GM Parts and hopefully they'll be some way to replace the ZL1 emblem with an SS or RS one. It's the best grill I've seen for the Camaro fascia to date.

back in 09 I hated the look of the grill & wanted mesh or billet etc

but it grew on me & i dont want anything other. it's kind of part of the character, with its big old gaps

love the zl1 grill though - cant wait to c

I like the heritage grille a lot, but if they can make this happen, im gonna be all over it

I feel like this is the modern version of the heritage grill which makes it even more unique. I'm really hoping this is an option for us at some point in the near future!

Don't know for sure, but it appears it will have the ZL1 emblem in the corner, which if GM does things the way they do, the "landing pad" behind the stick on emblem would likely easily hold an SS or RS emblem just as well, IMO.

We'll know soon, I'm betting.
