JRE MAGGIE MAX STAGE 1 VS 2 RESULTS 727 RWHP

I am testing a lot of combinations to see what is most efficient at making power and I think we got a good combo now

I pulley'd up to a 3.4 from a 3.2 so this dyno grahp shows the Maggie Max Stage 1 with 3.2 pulley VS Maggie Max Stage 2 with 3.4 pulley

I have recorded much lower IAT, Less Boost, More Power Flatter boost lines.

L99 JRE Smooth Idle blower cam, Forged Rods and Pistons Only, LT headers, Magnacharger 2300, Innovators west 8 rib 10% overdrive, Overdrive Cog kit, ID850 injectors, Maggie Max Stage 2 16 PSI boost 100 octane unleaded.

727 RWHP 685 RWTQ on 16 PSI.

ESSENTIALLY WE'RE UP 75 RWHP ON SAME BOOST LEVEL FROM JUST THE STAGE 2 PACKAGE.

You can see from this Graph the GREEN boost curves.

The top green line represents the 3.2 pulley with STAGE 1, you see it falls hard at the top, this is what we were chasing and thought was belt slip but We Now Know it is NOT, It is an Air flow restriction within the blower that the RDS Spacer addresses.

We Pulley'd up to 3.4 and the STAGE 2 Maggie Max package and you see the boost line is Flatter and carries right to 7000 RPM.

I am testing some other Items so More To Come

I would have thought that setup would make well over 750? Still impressive though!

Remember this is an Automatic 376.

An LS3 Will Easily do it.

There is More Left in it but I will visit that at a later date.

Nice work! Can you elaborate a little more on the IAT improvements and the lower boost? I'm interested. What would the power numbers be on an M6 car?

There is a Point with every blower that you get diminishing returns due to parasitic loss and Heat production.

By addressing the Flow restrictions with this Package we increase power, lower IAT and Lower Parasitic losses.

Making the flow path more flow friendly we reduce Surface Friction.

The results are nothing less than Stellar.

Ted.

Have you measured how many Liters the the spacer gives you in addition to the 2.3L? I'm wondering how close it is to the 2.9L in the Whipple? I'm thinking they should be pretty close to each other, so now, you can start comparing apples to apples (with appropriate pulleys of course). Nice work Ted - I would love to see the comparison dyno graphs.

The spacer does not affect the Blower Liters that is fixed by the rotor length.

What it does do is increase Plenum volume by quite a bit, I have not calculated how much, Just not proficient at Trig
