Has there been any official word of what GM will be charging as far an interest rate for those with approved credit. I would imagine this would be the same rates as all the other camaro's being financed by GM. I was
thinking the rate is 2.9% is this correct?

Can't think of any reason that 2.9 wouldn't be available as long as the buyer could qualify for it and the loan term was within guidelines for that rate.

It has a lot less to do with GM and a lot more to do with your dealer, credit score, and region.

It varies from dealer to dealer hmm did not realize that. I thought it would be the same nationally if you have excellant credit.

Dealers use different banks in different areas. Not all financing terms are created equal. GM doesn't give a rat's ass what interest rate you buy the car at, as long as that dealer is coming up for its stocking price once that vehicle is titled and a sale is completed.

I thought that the 2.9 he was referring to would have been through GMAC, so it wouldn't depend on the dealers finance department? I'm not haggling with them on rates. I'll just take the 3.9 from my credit assoc, unless the dealer can beat it.

Yes that's what i was thinking. Like what would be a national program through GMAC for those that would qualify. I know other companies
like when we bought our Honda civic that gave us 1.9% three years ago.

I'd think its hard to predict how long any special financing incentive would last, since you might not get your ZL1 until Feb. All you could do it base it off today's offers.
