DIY- Rear Bowtie Experiment
I'll be taking my rear bowtie off this weekend and putting the 'Camaro' lettering on the back. I'm trying to figure out what would happen if I lightly sanded away the edges to make an ABL-like effect for some leds.
I know some companies sell the piece that goes behind the emblem to light it but I'm trying to intergrate that into the piece itself. |

Hi, the bowtie is a solid type plastic, its not clear like the ABL door panel, once you sand through the chrome paint you will see white plastic.
what i did was take a dremel and cut out the back area throughout the whole bowtie and them lay some led's in it facing the trunk and the light out the outer area of the bowtie lupe |
