ZL1 Subforum Suggestions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I would like to suggest to the moderators (NO POLLS NEEDED thanks!) that more ZL1 specific sub forums might be something many of us would find helpful really soon and make life living with a ZL1 easier. Since we know 1/3 of the car is "new" compared to the SS, I believe we could benefit by this. While this might lend itself to some duplications/overlap, I really don't have confidence that many of the recommendations in the existing Gen 5 Camaro Subforums will be specific enough.

Some ideas I'll serve up for starting consideration, in addition to the "bolt ons" already in existence:

1) Engine | Exhaust | Bolt-On | Drivetrain Modifications
2) Tire/Wheel Discussions
3) Suspension/Magnetic Ride Control
4) ZL1 Transmission Discussions
-Automatic Specific
-Manual Specific
5) Appearance
Bolt-ons/Cosmetics, Engine, Exterior, Mods, Products)
6) ZL1 Performance vs Competition
-Magazine Road/Track Tests
-Member Stories
7) ZL1 Technical Service Bulletins Issued
8) ZL1 Factory Part Numbers
9) ZL1 Problems & Solutions
10)ZL1 Order Tracking Discussions
11)ZL1 Miscellaneous News & Info

me likes. maybe a sticky with all the part #'s for the conversions?
zl1 front end
zl1 diffuser
zl1 rocker panels/spoiler,etc...

Keep 'em coming!!! We tried to clean up a lot of Sticky clutter a while ago but interest is there we're definately going to crunch the numbers

I would like to also suggest Tires (All season, track, and drag) might be a great one that will have a lot of interest for a long time. Especially considering there doesn't seem to be many tires for the rear rims.

I have an idea...

EVENT CODE sub forum. Get rid of the 15 my car went to xxxx today off the main page.

I know that's exciting FOR YOU but not everyone cares. Just a suggestion. That way all the discussion of who's getting shafted and who's moving along can all be isolated from the other information.

Please, as a first priority let's have a "ZL1 vs. " sub forum, as having it will place all of the Ford and GT500 and Boss 302 related posts in one area, and allow the other areas to be uncluttered and have less distractions and pot stirring.

IMVHO - I almost don't want to encourage their participation, lol... I've merged so many "vs" from our pony posters that I really almost don't want them to polute this Section. However, I also acknowledge we have many members that participate maturely so I hate to really restrict anything.

I'm working on seeing what can be done for this excellent topic

You know, the entire Camaro5 Site has all of the original topics created already. Why don't you make it easy and just create a ZL1 Subsection within EACH of the already existing Categories!! ???? You could just put a link to it at the top of the ZL1 section??

Great idea! How about adding a ZL1 specific engine "tweaks" subforum. Some of us plan to "play" with our toy and it would be nice to see what other guys have or are doing to their ZL1's. I suppose it could be done in one of the other areas, but just saying
