AAC Side markers installed

Tried to get some pics of side markers installed. It was very easy to do.
On the rear reached up underneath the car fender and was able to release the clip. Was easily assessable on each side. I have the Loudmouth exhaust so unsure how the space is with stock. On the front markers I turn the wheel and use a torx to take off three fender lining screws. Gently pull the fender lining back and use a screw driver to release the tab. The front was a bit trickier and used a little more prying to release the tab. Once the OEM lights were release I unscrewed the bulb directly from each light (set OEM marker aside and then removed the light bulb from the bracket). I did each light this way to avoid scratching the paint if pulling to hard with marker attached.

One thing I noticed and not unsure if others have seen this. Some of the AAC markers were a very snug fit. As you can see below the front marker is a little recessed in from fender. Not real noticeable to an average person, but I noticed. Just snapped into place very firmly. Unsure if anyway to adjust marker out some to line up. If anyone has advice on this post away. However, I think just the way it clicks in with tabs.

Once on very surprised how bright they were. I have AAC afterburners (LED) and these are brighter/redder. Defiantly give off some light.

Here some pics on the car up close. Attempted to take with lights on, but markers were just to bright.

Love the look hope you enjoy

Here you can see the marker recessed slightly more. Not really sure if you can adjust the fender or the marker to have a better alignment. Any advice here would be great. (AAC feel free to chime in)

IN this photo can really tell

Further away not as noticeable

As far as I know, they aren't supposed to be recessed. Might be a good idea to ask AAC about that. They look great other than that! Cant wait to get my ghost painted ones.

Yeah wasn't really sure about that on the install. Only one way that I could really see to put in. They have a tab on the end you slide into the opening and the light harness slides in and then clip. Tight fit as stated on some sides, but not sure if fender would need to be adjusted around it. Fender are going to be coming off soon for Halos, but thought would give it a try to instal

i still have stock exhaust and i did this a couple months ago. even with my skinny arms it was still a struggle to reach up to the rear sidemarkers. the front ones clipped in perfectly but with the rear ones i had to reach up and use screwdriver to pull clip in fully. mine aren't recessed or anything. they look awesome especially at night with rain or fog, if you look in your mirror while driving it almost looks like fire

As stated the rears were not bad for me. I just attempted to adjust the one recessed in the front. Not really sure what is going on with that one. The others sit flush or flusher (is that a word) Might need to find out from AAC. I don't see where adjusting the fender would work. Fender is already lined up with other lines coming from front end. Wondering if its the clip mechanism on the AAC marker that could be drawing it in tighter?? Will need to contact them on Monday I guess. Really like the look though. My wife even said. Wow now thats cool!!

Thats not right. Something isn't lining up correctly.

The Sidemarkers are supposed to be completely flush so one of two things is happening.

They were installed and excessively pushed in to where the tabs broke or your body panels aren't lined up correctly.

Get with AAC to confirm the lot and make sure that they haven't seen this yet.

I know I haven't.

They look great!

It looks to me as if the fender is popping out, the markers are flush with the fascia, but the fender is not flush with either the fascia or the markers.

All the pictures look like the marker is recessed except for this one in the front looks like the fender is sticking out
In th rear of this photo it appears the marker is recessed... optical illusion or someting
