ARH mated to Borla S Axle Back (Videos added)

2011 L99 (Had the Borla S Axle Back for about 3.5 years). Mods were CAI intake, ported TB, catch can and JRE SCT Tune.

Added ARH LT's with their Hi Flow Cats this past weekend.

Quick review: Start up is loud (temps around 45 and lower)...a bit too loud for me. Under load/WOT it sounds fantastic. Idle at the moment seems about the same when warmed up. Havent noticed drone but havent gone on a long drive at one given speed - which is the only time I have ever noticed drone.

Quick ride around with now outdated tune was great. The car was very responsive and seems quicker to go.

Updated tune (haven’t data logged yet) and the car seems so much more eager. The difference in acceleration is night and day (from stock manifolds to LT w Hi Flow Cats)! I am so happy to have purchased LT's (1 7/8"). Its an entire different car now!

A quick note - my installer mentioned the pipes seems bigger and heavier vs. 2 recent OBX installs he did (all Camaro's). Not knocking any one or any product (purchase what you can afford - we have choices). But at least wanted to put it out there in case someone was on the fence.

So you did the ARH "short connection" LTs w/HFCs (CA78SHWC) and left the OE H pipe between the cats and your Borla?

I'm considering either the kit above into OE NPP catback or the "to-the-axle" system which carries 3" diameter through the midsection, ARH's X pipe then necks down to 2-1/2" to mate into the OE exhaust. I too am concern about the volume, especially at start up when the NPP will be open and I'm trying to ease out of the garage first thing in the morning. Any comment (by anyone) on the relative volume between these two options?

From Ted at JRE: Your existing exhaust Has an X pipe inside the resonator so no need to mess with it.

Not sure of the model number but:

I agree with your comment on the vid, "not too bad" especially once outside. I would guess that the same headers into complete OE catback (my application) would be even quieter--which is good for me.
