A new IOM?

Ok, now that I have seen a couple of pics of IOM on the ZL1, I have questions. I had my mind set on a 2013 Summit White ZL1 Vert, but this IOM is not the same as 2011. While walking around the local Chevy dealer we saw a freshly shipped Camaro sitting in the back. I looked at my wife and said what color is that? We both knew it was orange, but it did not look orange/red like the 2011/2010 IOM. We checked the sticker and it was indeed a 2012 IOM. We both agreed this was a more true orange, but figured it could have been the sunlight? Now that I have seen the IOM ZL1, this indeed is a more true orange. I don't know if something changed in the paint, but I like this new IOM. So now I have to rethink my 2013 Vert, IOM with a black top sounds sweet all of a sudden.

I am now wondering if any of the other colors we really have not seen have changed? Black is black, white is white, victory red is victory red, but after seeing the new IOM, I would not jump to any conclusions on the other colors. Of course my wife and I could be becoming color blind

The picture of the IOM ZL1 looked more orange to me too, but I figured it was just the lighting.

I hope not though, it looks much better!

White and this newer looking IOM are AMAZING!!!

On a very sunny day IOM is beautiful and always has been. On a cloudy day not as beautiful.

its the lighting. If you look at IOM in the sun at different times of the day, the orange will change. As the sun begins to set, the orange will glow very similar to that of a Lambo orange

Both IOM and SW sound bad assssss!!!

I think Summit White with factory black rims in a convertible would win my heart though. Tint the windows and you have the most badass covertible on the streets! No need for mods!

This. Had an IOM 2010. In the early morning it was a bright orange, then during sunset it was usually a dark red. It really is an amazing color.

I am going to do exactly that ^^^^ to my 2013 ZL1 SW vert this summer.

I was thinking of ordering the polished wheels and powder coat the inner line of the 5 spokes, but the black wheels will give it that white/black look all over I think will be an amazing combo

I have IOM and I have been using Adam's Polishes for a long time. Now when I first got the car I didn't use their products and the car did look a little darker than it does now.

For some reason the Adams has really made the IOM pop and look more brilliant than when I first bought it.

When done right the IOM really shows it true color and looks even better than when you get it from the factory.

Same IOM - it's the lighting at the autoshow - go see my post about the gray stripe -

IOM has some amazing highlights that absolutely glow under various lighting conditions............however, on a cloudy day, it loses that 'fire' --

Autoshow lighting is an art.......(it can go terribly wrong if one does not pay attention!)
