AEM boost gauge question Whipple guys

I am having a little difficulty with this one, I am using the 3/8" NPT port on the drivers side rear of the lower manifold, I have to reduce that 3/8" to 1/8" ok, no problem, lift up the fuel rail and install the MAP sensor, but when I put the rail back on the map senson is hitting the rail. I get some extention 1/8 fittings but now this thing looks like azz. I was thinking about putting a 90 at the end of the extension. What are you guys doing with the tap end of things??

Thanks for any help!!

I'm also using the drivers side but I'm using a 1/8 npt fitting where the plug was between the 2 rear cylinders on top.

I don't know if this helps.

Are you talking about the bung that is in the lower base manifold? For me that one is a 3/8" bung that I have to reduce to 1/8" and the AEM sensor boss is so big that when the fuel rail goes on it hits the sensor, I had to use an extension but it does not look good, I will look for the 1/8" between cyl 5-7 then

Thanks

If you could that would help out, I did not see a 1/8" bung only the 3/8" bung under the fuel rail on the drivers side rear, but that sensor is too big after I reduce the 3/8 to 1/8 where the fuel rails do not clear the sensor
