Take my Camaro to LSU?

Hey everyone. Happy thanksgiving. Well, next fall I'll be heading off to college (likely LSU). Has anyone attended the University and can advice me on wether taking the car will be a good choice or not. Also, does anyone have experiences with Arizona?

Don't bring a car you care about to school unless you want to see the crap beaten out of it. Other college kids don't give two ****s about you or your car. My dad lets me bring his truck up to school because he doesn't want to see my Envoy beat to hell and back.

Just found two new scratches on it.

I started taking my first Camaro to college, but I definitely won't do that with my second one. Nothing ever happened to it, but people can be very jealous, and it's only a matter of time before something happens.

So, I'd say no, don't do it.

Went to LSU, BAD idea, bad parking, lots of accidents, lots of DUMB girls who cant drive.

But, what a lot of people do is bring their car to Baton Rouge, just dont drive it to campus, depending on where you live, just take the bus, its faster to take the bus because you have to waste 15 minutes finding a spot.

But you will probably be staying in the dorms as a freshman? So I would suggest leaving at home for the first year, unless you have private parking somehow.

I was going for accounting so I went to UNO (better accounting school), for most of my college career.

Why are you going to LSU? Football scholarship? Out of state tuition is a b****.

saw your info says Texas

No problem, got ya. enjoy LSU, its fun! Definitely a party school, be careful though also haha, a lot of people either had to switch schools or had too much fun and dropped out.

Just stay on track, lol.

Go Arizona!! They have some parking garages at the U of A. I've parked mine in there with no problems yet..... I went to a different school in the midwest and had my lifted Silverado shot up with a .45 in the dorm parking. It's going to be high risk anywhere to park on campus overnight. Just hire some security.

Lol if you have a storage unit right next to the school then I say rent a storage unit to park the car and walk to school everyday!

Gave my daughter a new Jetta for Law school...

a few years back. It survived with just the front and rear bumper covers dinged up. She had them painted after graduating and they came out fine.

It's a car. Plain and simple. Take it and enjoy it. Someone can mess it up anywhere doesn't have to be at school that's why we all have insurance.

I'm in my third year at KSU and no problems with my camaro since day one two plus years ago when I first brought mine.

It's not a $100,000 car so enjoy it while you have it, bring it.
