A6 vs M6... DT loss!

Having an A6 myself I was wondering what the difference in drivetrain loss is. By the dyno charts of stock m6 vs a6's It seems that if the l99 had the 26 hp extra the ls3 has then It'd still be behind by about 15 or so rwhp.

So What are the percentage numbers of drivetrain loss for both the A6 and M6??

If I had to guess:
A6 - 21%ish
M6 - 19%ish

IIRC my drivetrain loss was a tick over 18% when stock. I think I made 333 rwhp from the 400 claimed. This was 3 years ago but I think that's correct.

Nice numbers, I think the average I've seen for the m6 is about 365 so that's not too far off from the same dt loss.

a DDS 3.5 aluminum shaft will help take a couple percentage off when dynoing

My stock 2010 M6 car @ about 18k miles put down 370.25 on a Dynojet... Roughly a 13% DT loss.
