AutoX with CFR Solo

If anyone is interested to have some fun with their Camaro and test your driving skills, April 1st the Central FL SCCA will be racing in Geneva at the gun range.

Last time out, there were 2 brand new 2012 Mustangs running (1 of them a Boss) and doing very well.

If youve autoX'd before awesome...if not, they do have a novice group for beginners where you can receive instruction from ride-alongs with SCCA instructors. They'll teach you how to read the course and drive it.

Your car will get tech'd in and if you dont have a helmet, they bring plenty so you can borrow one.

Dude were you at the last one in February with your cyclone? If so I was there watching you race with a couple of other Xecofl members.

Not 100% sure on it yet but we should be attending the event on April 1st also. Also something that you forgot to mention is that there's like a mile long road of just rocks and dirt and ridges before you get to the gun range so be prepared to drive SLOW as hell to get there and have to detail/wash the car after the event.

Yep, that was me. You probably wont find any other local SyTys racing autoX except for me. It was the first time Ive had the truck back out in over a year (smashed the trans at the end of 2010), so it was a shakedown session for me and the truck. Not my best of runs, but nothing broke, which was the goal. Im currently working on more modifications now, but probably wont have them done by the 1st.

Yeah, that road does suck. I have open fender wells in the Sy, so I have to drive seriously slow to keep from throwing rocks up.

Ahh sweet. I'll have to stop on by next time and say hi. I'm like 90% sure I'll be at this upcoming one in Geneva.

Also not breaking things is good! The only thing better is not falling in a lake like that one Lotus almost did
