ARE ORDERS FINALLY STARTING TO MOVE ALONG A LITTLE FASTER?!?!?

I've been at 1100 for a bit. Number 7 at my dealer. I've been trying to stay occupied doing other things and not obsseing over when im going to move up on the list. So have more allocations been spread out to the point that orders are starting to really move...

its still up to dealer allocation- I was 12 of 15 and ordered 4/7/09 My dealer finally received the allocation for mine on 6/26. since then, the order's been cruising! hang in there, once you get pulled it'll be home before you know it!

Once GM accepts your order (event code 2000), thing are moving faster. I went from 2000 to 3800 order produced in 5 weeks. I believe they are building around 2,700 cars per week now.

From someone who has their car built. Don't even waste your time trying to project ETAs... every step of the process has been delayed, mostly without explanation. I was built a week ago and my car is just sitting in Canada and no one knows anything about delivery. If I were you I would buy one off the lot.

I was expecting my car, well, somewhere in the next month. I ordered on May 7, and havent contacted my dealer yet. I'm thinking about contacting them for the first time since my order. I religously watch UCF's 2010 database, but I'm losing faith in my dealer watching the database. My dealer has only 4 Camaro Stickers, and the last one found on June 4th. I dont understand it, you would think they would have at least one built here and there. From what I know my dealer is not one of the ones GM is ending their contract with, You would expect them to have at least a few allocations in the months of June & July, but nothing built.

More dealer allocations ?

My dealer has recieved more allocations this month than last...so I do believe they are getting more allocations every month...also the more Camaros they sell, the more allocations they will get...guess that's why they are getting more & more each month.

I am now #2 in my dealers production cue......... hoping to get "sucked into" the GM database tomorrow!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Took me two days to go to 3000, then about a week and a half before I got my TPW. All and all my TPW is just over a month from when I first went to 2000. Not bad, once you get to 2000 its pretty quick indeed. What sucks is never knowing when you might get to 2000, I waited from feb. till end of june.

Exactly. The worst part I think is being at 1100, and never knowing when you might get picked up. It REALLY sucks. You are at the mercy of everyone (GM, dealer, other buyers) because you cant be sure what will happen until your in the system at 2000 at least. To make matters worse, you still have to hope everything goes as planned with price and condition of the car, when your car finally arrives at the dealer.

do updates only occur on a tuesday or thursday? If I have a down payment on a car at production level 3000, would I be stupid to switch to a dealer with a new allocation to save a 250 mile drive to pick it up? Or is that too much risk?
