New 2012 5.0 for $24,445?

It's no wonder that the Mustang outsold the Camaro last month with deals available like this:

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

Car stickers for $31,700.

$24,445 is basically giving it away. Not that I'm interested in it, I just like browsing the web for crazy deals. Couldn't really believe this one. The cheapest 1SS in the country on cars.com is $29456, that's a $5k difference!

Thats probably one of the reasons for sure. Ford has so much time into that chassis that they can afford to do those kinds of deals. When I went to the gm dealership, they were whoring out corvettes at deals way below invoice, but they just sit there mostly, I guess the styling on the corvette has grown too long in the tooth and people are tired of them.

There will be a ton of great deals on stangs these next free months now that the new redesign is around the corner .

That is a nice ride (new GT under $25K). Your cannot buy a stripped down RS for that price.

Yeah, I'd still wait though. The 2013 is a knockout of a beauty and you already know theres going to be some great deals on them soon enough.

On their home website, the car actually stickered for 32K+ but there's a $4250 rebate on 2012, and 1750 on 2013s with V6s plus whatever other incentives you can get. Pretty good deal.

Ford doesn't care as long as they clear the lots for the 2013 models. Ford doesn't owe anybody " US government" any money and it's pure profit to them.

If you read the fine print, that is an a/z plan price. Expect 2k more without plan, but still a good price.

I paid just under $26K for my 2012 last week of Dec. Understand, the 2013's are hitting dealer lots now.
