JUST FOUND OUT THAT OUR ORDER IS 3000 EVENT CODE. NOT SURE WHEN IT WAS PUT THERE BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAID LESS THAN 2 MONTHS!!! WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!

two months?? wow i was told like three weeks. when mine went 3000. i hope i was told right and i hope you were told wrong.

MIne Says 3000 also. So what does exactly that mean. I know my dealer said GM pulled my order

3000= your order has been Accepted by Production Control

I was just told that I reached 3000 today. Based on what I've seen here and when my order was pulled, it appears that my car should be made between April 13-17. I wonder what the chances are of people's cars being built ahead of schedule. Seems like the plant is making great progress ramping up.

Is there any set time frame between one event code to another? My Camaro went to 2000 this morning, is there a time frame to the next code?
Is there a way to track it?

No there are no "set" time frames. You can just ask your dealer to let you know when the order code changes.

Yeah, the dealer. But they just don't seem to care. I don't get it. I'd be emailing all my customers with their status if I was the dealer. I think one of the problems is that dealers limit who has access to this info. I know my salesman doesn't. So then you have to go to "The Big Guy", and he could care less- he knows your buying no matter what. It's a shame because my salesman is pretty cool. Kinda hard to blame him.

HEY ALL!

My order also moved to 3000 today!! It moved to 2000 on 3/19, 1 week later I am 3000 (today)! I hope the same happens for next week...which would make sense....next Thurs. be at 3400...then, move to 3800 since my production is scheduled for 4/13-4/17!

I'm happy for you man. I know how you feel. Its gets even better when you find out that your car is produced. You won't be able to sit still.

Just to update you on our progress, GM is not sure what event code our car is at now. We called the dealership and they were supposed to get back to us and still haven't, but, they did tell us that they do have a 1LT on the showroom floor for customers to look at. How unfair is that? We have been waiting since October.
