Question Just got the Dr. ColorChip in...

Got the biggest kit, 'cause my gills look bad :( Got a car show this weekend.

How long do I need to let it sit before I drive it? The kit doesn't say.

Any of you have any tips with this product? I'm hoping it works as advertised! Has anyone gone over it with a clearcoat pen? WHat are your general thoughts on this product? I'm nervous to blob and smear on my baby

Thanks in advance for the answers!

Don't have any suggestions or anything, but I'd love to see some before and after shots of how it all works.

I use it on a couple of my vehicles.

Pretty much like the video, I have found that leaving it on for 30-60 minutes is better than trying to do it in 5-10 or 15. Clean the area and surrounding with isopropyl alcohol twice, this is key to a good stick.

do the blob and a quick smear, wait 30-60 min.

Using a small piece 3x5 of the supplied white cloth, use the activator with a very light touch and a lot of patience. With some practice, you'll be able to better your technique. You may find you have to do it twice of you take too much off, but it's not a big deal.

I've done at least 100 on my camaro, much of those in the gill area before I got the flaps. You would be hard pressed to find them unless you knew where to look.

Jim, give me a shout, I'll get you going if you like.

I've used it on a black and now yellow camaro. Worked better on the darker color. It scared the heck out of me at first too. Just remember when your using the activator to rub off the excess that it takes a bit of time and a light touch. Too rough and the paint all comes off.

I just ordered for my Cyber Gray. I've been going back and forth between Lanka and Dr Colorchip. This seems a bit simpler. Hope this works.

I'll post pictures but would like to see anyone else's too.

Those were pretty bad from backing up into a parking space and hitting the cement divider. That was one application. After a few it was still visible up close and pretty much invisible from a distance.
