So I walked into Woodfield Chevrolet in Schaumburg Il ready to order a 2010 Camaro without caring about when it would be ready. The first question I asked was about military pricing. The salesman was nice and stated that it would be at manufacturers cost. Well I ordered a IOM 1ss/rs with upgraded speakers and it came out to $33,060. I thought that seemed a bit high, as I built one at a different dealership for $33,975 with an added sunroof and stripes and no military pricing. Now I noticed that the base price for the 1ss has gone from $30,245 to $31,040. I put $1,000 down because I wasnt sure if I was right or not on my pricing.
Well today I built the car on the Camaro website and it came to.......$33,060. Exactly the same as I was quoted. Can I get my money back or demand they change the price?

if he stated "manufacturers" cost, maybe you are meaning MSRP? in which case, you agreed to that, and NOT to the military/supplier/college pricing. You need to go to www.gmmilitarydiscount.com and apply for the military discount, get the authorization #, and confirm with your dealership that they will accept it, and get that in writing. Or, find a dealership that will.
But for now, from how this sounds, unless they do agree to make the change, you did agree to MSRP for the order. (which is still better than paying a mark-up over the MSRP that some people have paid/will pay)

Well the discount is $1,000. I confirmed it through another dealership in the area. So Im getting it for MSRP. However, he did say I was eligible for a discount. He could of just said " I can only get you it for MSRP" and I would of been fine with that either way. Maybe he charged me $1,000 for the toy H2 he gave my son. LOL.

Oh, I told him I had my code from the GM website and he never asked for it. Not that it matters now.

I just built your car (1SS/RS, BA speakers and IOM) and it came to $32,011. Print out the build sheet with the price and take that in there with your go code. If they dont honor that price tell them to kiss your ass and leave.
