Joining the club...
Hey yo,
Ever since I bought my first GM muscle car, I always wanted to have a supercharged car. Personally, I am very proud of my pedigee: LT1 < LS1 < LS2 < LS3. I felt that my 5th gen Camaro was the perfect platform to finally make that desire a reality. After building cam only and head/cam N/A cars in the past, I'm stepping into a new world. After months of research, I landed on the Vortech V3 complete kit as my base. I always preferred a centri style, and with the crazy Chicago weather, I believe I made the right choice. More to come as the build progresses. Hopefully I'll get this thing dyno tuned by the end of the week. Looking forward to seeing that boost gauge go-go for the first time.

Hmm, a bit concerned and hope I haven't hit a snag.
I thought the V3 kit included the MSD BAP. I do not have one. Will I be maxing out my FP on this current setup?

Finally got the car up and running.
With the canned Vortech tune and headers, I still have a CEL and it is just pouring fuel. Dyno tune is scheduled for a few weeks from now due to availability. First impressions, the car drives pretty normal under regular driving conditions. Once you get on the throttle, and boost kicks in around 3500 rpm, the car really lights up. It looks like I'm making about 6 to 6.5 psi at max boost. Can't wait until this thing is tuned. It needs a little more power at the lower rpm, and the tune should sort that out.

Procharged

My tune from Procharger seemed to be pretty spot on, but I will see when I get my wideband hooked up. Welcome to the dark side.
