Just replaced my DRLs with plasma bulbs

Easiest upgrade I have done - took me 10 minutes and they look great. GM should make them standard from factory. Yellow bulbs are a thing of the past...IMHO. Will install the AAC back up lights tomorrow...

Very nice. Could you tell me what the bulb number is on the stock bulbs(old bulbs) that you replaced? Thanks.

Lookin good! Dont worry about them looking a little blue. That will fade in around a week. The blue had me a little flustered when I first saw it.

I saw a thread which a member brought to my attention. It shows that the socket key/tab that locks the bulb in place is in the wrong side. I thought it odd when it didn't click in place with the light assembly. The plasma bulb itself is longer than the factory bulb, and as long as it doesn't come loose, I don't mind. If I wanted to be a stickler, I would mind, because for $99 I would expect it to be perfect.

Isn't it P13W? Its not your average bulb, but a newer proprietary GM socket.

I'm currently one of a few different people who are tied up in this issue. It appears not all 2012's are impacted by the bulb change...maybe a mid model year change? Here are a couple threads to study. You need to pull your bulbs and verify which style you have before ordering.
