Very Squeaky Driver Seat - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a very Squeaky driver seat and its very noticable when i dont have my music blarring(isnt often lol). Any time going over bumps small or big it squeaks loud.

Anyone else having this problem? im planning on the dealer having a look at it next oil change.

Mine has been to the shop 3 times for this problem. the passenger seat makes the same noise. The dealer said GM calls it a normal
Characteristic . I think that is BS. I am going for the lemon law. The gas in the tank makes a loud noise also.

Oh i do drive with the music up but this is a pretty loud squeak. Sounds funny but it really should not be even close to making a sound like this unless ive had the car for 10+ years. Ill let them know about it and see what they can do but im not going to go crazy over it. I literally go over any bump and it can be as loud as the music when i have my GF in the car

I have the exact same problem. One of my few complaints about this car. It is embarassing to take someone for a ride in what is supposed to be a very nice car and hear continuous squeaking.

I looked at the site referenced and tried to find the bulletin number, but had no luck. Is the actual bulletin somewhere that it can be read, or do I need to go to the dealer?
