Traction on launch in Auto?

I know the Auto doesnt have launch control like the manual. I am ordering an auto once the 13 alocations come in. My dumb question is, How do you keep from roasting the tires in the 1/4m with the auto with no traction control on launch? Do you just have the have a feel for the traction, or do you choose one of the modes? Back in the day, I would ease the throttle on my truck when taking off, but I have never had a car with this kind of HP either.

Need more info.

ZL1, SS or LT?

Your username and section posted indicates ZL1 but just trying to be sure because the ZL1s have like 5 different launch modes.

From the videos we've seen none of them are going to let you just stomp it. So you're gonna have to feather the gas a bit.

I haven't gotten mine yet to practice, but I assume you would just brake torque it and roll into the gas and make sure it's hooked before going WOT.
