FREE ZL-1 TOOL KIT WHO ELSE GOT EM?

found these while trying to find steeering problem. thanks gm for my free Zl-1 tool kit! a broken wrench and a giant cuticle cutter.

I've always made it a habit to check under the hood for "spare" TOOLS prior to leaving the shop. I've amassed quite a collection over the years from various brands & their service departments.

Your car was worked on, tweeked. The tools were left behind. An old mechanics trick is to cut off the opposite end of a wrench for tight spaces. That's a cool story!

that is a door panel retainer removal tool, also used to remove plastic retainers in other plastic panels

so the question is what retainers did they take off under the hood? i will look very closely in the morning light. possibly my free carbon fiber insert?

these tools came from canada factory. im pretty sure as the wrench is stamped canada

I would see what the QC team would pay to have them back :-)

Was probably the hood insert ..... Or they hid a special message from all of the build team in your drivers door as a time capsule lol
