top speed after rev limiter removed??

how fast will the ss go after the car is tuned and the rev limiter removed?? I have pushed mine to 156 but the rev limiter kicks in.How fast will it actually go on top with out being governed??

think you mean speed limiter, not rev limiter

The new 650hp GT500 hit 200mph, IIRC.

Quick side question about the governor, can you remove that with any Tuner off the market or is that something done at a shop? Sorry for the bonehead question kinda new to this stuff. Thanks

I thought the SS that did 178 in the salt flats was stock. With mods, it could probably squeak out a few more mph.

My question is: Where are you guys driving to actually hit the flat out speed?

I see many posts about removing the limiter. Why?

I won't be taking my V6 RS over 100, much less 155.
