Reliable insurance companies?

Has anyone had positive experiences with camaro claims? Not looking for the cheapest rates, but peace of mind. Been with American family for a long time, but never had to use them. Policy is up in July.

What are your experiences?

I use Ameriprise Financial. formally (AMEX) and have for 12yrs now. My rates almost never go up and they beat every other agency i have ever been quoted from each year. I had 1 claim of $5,500 4yrs ago when someone keyed my entire car in a movie theatre parking lot along with 3 other cars next to me.

Process was simple and painless. Approved at my choice of shop and had a check in my hand in 3 days .

From what i know they do NOT insure anyone in a high risk category and also have an age limit i believe of 23. This keeps the prices low.

My car with all mods insured, $100 deductible for comp & collison. With additional $20k medical plus $300k limits across the board. Includes towing & rental and including Hurricane , wind & water damage. Mine is also stacked with my wifes vehicle so if need be in an extreme case the insurance could double to $600k if needed. is about $90 per month.

I live in a high rate area as well so $1,100 a yr is excellent.

I've never had anyone beat StateFarm for us, but that may be due to the multi-line discount (homeowners). A couple major claims over the years, both handled immediately with no hassle. And I like to know I can go sit across the desk from the guy if necessary...

Not sure if you can get them in your area but I use Wawanesa. Ive had them since I was 16. They will cover mods no questions asked but will drop you in a heart beat if you get more than 3 points in a 3 year period. Im paying $900 a year for full coverage on a 2004 Infiniti G35 and 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS and 1996 Ford F250 with $500 deductibles, rental coverage, roadside assistance.

State Farm. My Mother in Law works for our agent so if I have any issues I call her up.

I deal with progressive. for 500k liability, 100k property damage, 500 deductible I used to pay $44 per month. added my daughter to the policy and it's now about 60 per month. I bought her a car and listed her as the driver but the rates on all my vehicles went up some. and that's with no accidents, but one claim from the wife backing into another car of mine, and no tickets for either of us. can't speak to how they handle claims as I've never filed one with them. was with GEICO when the wife did that, and they did an awesome job of handling it.

State Farm for close to 30 years in many states and two countries. I bundle $100,000 renters content insurance plus two autos. Get discounts for safe driving, staying with them over the years, multiple autos, etc. A number of auto claims over the years (none my fault). Always fast, fair, and friendly. Worst insurance company I ever had was Allstate. Had some parts stolen off a car and Allstate was so difficult to get quality parts replaced I had to get a State Attorney's Office involved to get the car repaired to my satisfaction.

I have had nothing but good dealings with my State Farm insurance policy and just submitted a nearly $4000 claim for paint repairs.

I'm with state farm as well. Multi-Line premiums are tough to beat if you have a house and more than one car. 250K/500K coverage with $500 deductible runs me about $43 a month per car (2012 Honda Civic is my other one.) Only had one claim with another guys' insurance company, but my state farm agent took all the work outta my hands. He did all the middle man stuff with Allstate, got my car in and out of the shop of my choice in 2 days, no questions asked. Very happy.

Statefarm for me. High limits and I pay $600 a year. Having a house and my wife on the policy helps.

Had Progressive but checked Geico. Geico was almost HALF the cost for the same coverage. When I asked Progressive if they could meet the quote, they said no because of "where I lived". That is all they would say.
I live in a small town (75,000) in West Tennessee so that made no sense to me. I live in an excellent part of town.
Needless to say, I now am insured with Geico.

If you are prior military, or one of your parents then you can get in with USAA. I have them and am satisfied. No one could beat their rates.
