Multiple Power Sources for Halo's

Has anyone wired their halo's (or any other LED's for that mater) from multiple power sources? Say powered from the fog lights and from a four channel system. If so how did you do it?

You can use a 3 way switch if you wanted to have multiple power source/. I'm assuming you would want it so just the halo's are on for a show or whatnot? I used a 3 way switch for my footlwell lighting. One power source from the dome light so they come on when the door opens. Then if I flip it to the other side it comes on from the battery. (I used an add a fuse) Middle is off. You can do the same for the halo's. One power source form the battery and one power source form the fogs.

I used exactly what ballistic was talking about. An "on off on" switch where the center position is off. I have done around 7 halo installs and every time I use one of these switches so the individual can use the halos off the headlight switch with the parking lights or switch directly to the battery for car shows. You can get these in a toggle style or a round rocker style such as this:
