Stuck accelerator.

I have a '12 1LS standard transmission. One thing I've noticed that happens intermediately is that after its been off for about 8 hours or such it will accelerate on its own in first gear. When I depress the clutch it will disengage the drive train and go back to normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

We certainly apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you. I would recommend taking it to a dealership for a proper diagnosis. Please let us know if you have any questions at all!

Mine does the same thing. Brought it into the dealer but they said they didn't know what the problem was. Brandon (posted above) was going to look into it for me
