2010 M6 SS VS 2011 5.0
SS has longtubes/ Xpipe, one chamber super 10 series mufflers, vararam intake , Tune makes 422rwhp 420tq
5.0 is automatic , intake , catback , and tune. Who wins at dragstrip on street tires and who wins from a 30-35 roll race? Just looking for opions. No racing has happened. |

A well driven ls3 will take it from a roll, at the strip who knows... could go either way, hard to beat a auto at the strip unless you can really launch well.

The 5.0's are fast compaired to the old Mustangs!!! If you can shift your car with out missing a gear you may have the edge, from a dead start or from a roll.

The Auto in the 5.0 with a tune is faster than the manual with a tune. Its night and day the difference in the Auto after a tune. The Mustang should make around 390 to the wheels with the mods. Would be a close race

I ran a girl with an auto 5.0 at the strip last week. She beat my modded 6 spd the first 3 runs and I beat her the last 3. Im new at this and am still trying to launch my beast without spinning thru 1st and 2nd gear.

Competion mode, launcing around 2000 rpm. I think I get too excited and hit the gas too hard once I release the clutch.
