Even the "Older" Ladies like the new Camaros!
I had just called in a take out order at our local Olive Garden. While I was sitting in my car in a "TO GO" spot, I hear a group of 4 very nicely dressed ladies, in what I would guess were in their 70s, with their hair fixed perfectly, approaching my car. I hear one of them say "Ethell, Is that one of them new Camaros?" So Ethell, completely oblivious to me sitting in the car, comes up to the side and carefully studies the "Camaro" badge on the side and in a somewhat southern drawl replies, "Yep Betty! It is one of them new Cumaarous (best I can type in southern drawl!). Betty then says "Oh my gracious thats a beautiful car!"
It was all I could do not to get out and offer them each a ride! |

That is very nice to hear. I doubt that would happen around here!

I took my 74 yr old father in law for a ride a few weeks back. I got on it a few times and did a nice burnout for him. He loved it and told me some stories about the old 76 T/A my mother in law had and drove it like a grandma and when he would take it out he would go "huntin" She still to this day is fully unaware of his little secret.
Anyhow, my mother and my inlaws are all in their 70's and they all love the car. |
