TB installed - service stabilitrak - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Had a TB installed yesterday, but now I am getting the 'Service Stabilitrak' message. The car runs fine, actually better than fine, the TB really helps.

How do I resolve this?

Pull the negative off the battery give about 5-10 min and reconnect

or start it up let iot run shut it off and reapeat 3-4 times...computer needs to adjust since the tb was unplugged

I have driven it around since Sunday. Just reconnected the battery...no luck

OK - found the issue, the guy who installed it (wont mention his name here) forgot to reconnect some wires (the ones that plug into the intake).

Bingo! That's what I was gonna say. There's a connector (very small, and easy to forget) that has to be undone and redone to get the TB off. Glad it's fixed.

Its funny, the car actually ran without these sensor wires. I would have expected the whole thing to crash and burn..anyway fixed now, gotta love these machines.
