RubyCamaro car show display painting "build" thread - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I have not done enough building to my Camaro to start a build thread and did not think to doccument this painting from the beginning but here is how it looks today. Mind you I am no artist. I just like to play with arts & crafts stuff. It started as a team activity at work. A co-worker whose turn it was to plan an activity brought us each a canvas & we were to do a painting over the course of the next several meetings. Well a few of the meetings got cancelled and I am way too obsessive to complete anything like this in just 3 sessions so mine sat unfinished at home for several months. I have been working on it while on my R&R vacation and here is how it looks now. I still have a good bit of detail work to do and need the silver paint I left at home to add the "CAMARO" between Music City and Club (it will look like the word Camaro on the side of our cars). The framed pic on the left is our club logo from which the right side of the painting was derived. I may add something else under my username but I am not sure what yet. It just looks empty there. What do you guys think?

Well I finally had a little more time to work on the display painting. Still far from finished. If things ever slow down maybe I will get it finished.

Okay so I got busy & have not worked on the painting for a while. But now that I have a nice garage to work in & I had a day off today with nothig to do in the rain so I worked on it some. It is still far from finished but some progress anyway.

Thanks. Coming from you that means a lot. It is coming along okay I guess. I wish I had more time to work on it. Maybe now that the garage is finished I can get out there & get it finished.

Thanks guys. It has been a fun project. I am anxious to get it finished & hope it ends up being presentable. Not looking to win any awards just have a nice piece to take to car shows.
