I bought a pair of led foglight bulbs and as usual, the easiest of mods is giving me problems. When I try pushing the plug onto the new bulbs, I can't get them to click in and connect. I looked at the bulb and the little plastic piece that clicks in seems a little farther back than the stock bulbs which is probably my problem.

I figured someone here has tried installing these led's or another brand and had a similar issue, so if anyone has a solution or workaround and can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

I had the same problem. Once I did get them connected one flickered and gave me fits. I ended up taking them out and they have been in my toolbox ever since. Wasn't real happy with thrm overall...

The first AAC bulbs had this problem as well, IIRC. You can just file down the black clip, or just leave it. The friction should hold them in fine.
