Aftermarket halos - a question

Hey all,

I have a Camaro 1LT and want to put some aftermarket halos in it. If I bought these, would I need a wiring harness or would they just be plug n play?

Thanks in advance!

That looks to be an entire headlight assembly replacement, do you already have the RS package? If you already have halos and one color changing/brighter ones, you buy just the halos to add in there.

If you dont have the RS package, then this will be plug n play, and probably pretty easy to install being an entire assembly.

A warning, ebay headlights' plastic deteriorates fast, as well as weather stripping if it comes with it.

Most people buy eagle eye or something else projectors and add them to their stock housing, then buy halo rings from aac or someone else to put in there. You keep the quality GM plastic housing but replace the electronics

Thanks for that! I don't have the RS package so I'm glad to hear these are just plug n play.

The headlight is plug n play, but you will still have to wire up a power and ground for the halo itself and add in a switch so you can turn them on and off, unless you hardwire it so it is on all the time and then you would want a power source that turns off when the car is not running. But some do a constant source with a switch so they can have the halos on without the car running.
Here is a diagram for you if you wire it yourself.

Search "retrofitting" or "retrofit" in the search forum box. A lot of guys on here has gone that route and I'll be doing the same as soon as I get the money together. They say they're a million times more happier with their lights now. A little extra work, but it seems to be worth.
