Because it was the best drivers car, not the fastest car

The Subaru placed extremely well in the road course event and overall fun and driver feedback that it gave the driver. I drove one on a road course and even if it might not be fastest in a straight line was TONS of fun in the twisties! Very cool drag btw, that Lambo is SICK.

Interestingly enough I wasn't surprised about much in that vid except that the Porsche with it's "paltry" 400bhp was as fast as it was. 12.0 is damn good with only 400 horses.

But listening to the exhaust at the end made me both like it and cringe.

Seriously, the Lambo is ok, nothing special, it's got some potential. But the BRZ and Porsche? Me no like ok ? Me no like. Sounds like sewing machines... Same when the Lambo was WOT, I don't like that sound at all. The ZL-1 and the GT500 have great exhaust note both of them but maybe I'm biased. (Yes, I'd be the first biased person posting to a brand forum )

All in all nice to see but I'm just wondering - where's the ZR1? Seriously? If you're gonna go all out and bring in the MP4-12C and the Aventador, where's the ZR1?

Because the ZR1 was in the race last year, and there were no changes for 2012-2013. Plus the ZR1 lost pretty heavily last year.

Weight, double clutch transmission and traction. Porsche's have always had insane acceleration with all the weight on the rear axle like that. Add on the PKG transmission and you have a recipe for success.
