help with a question re wheels
maybe you guys know from experience, or a salesman can help me here...I ordered a lt2 cgm rs on may 25th. I just looked at my paperwork and said i am getting the 20 paint aluminum wheels? i thought midnight silver was included in rs? Now depending on my status of the order ( guessing hasnt gone to far) would it delay the process to switch wheel types, would i basically have to reorder?

it's polished aluminum or the midnight silver... dunno why it would say painted aluminum... maybe they mean midnight silver? was your car pulled for production yet??? if it was then too late to change...

Midnight is painted too... If it ends up being silver at least it won't be the end of the world...
Easy Swap for the dealer.

Same thing was on my order. I watched the dealer enter it into the system and there was no "Midnight Silver Painted Aluminum" option. Since I don't know of any other painted aluminum wheel options, I assumed this to be correct, especially since it was the option that got checked when the RS package was chosen.

We got a workbench that had some confusing option details. Clarifying that with the inventory manager shouldn't mess up your place in line.

The order should be correct. When you build the car on chevy.com it also shows up as painted aluminum wheels with a notation that for RS package painted=midnight silver. As far as I have seen, there is no way a RS car leaves the factory without midnight silver (standard), polished (optional), or 21" ($$$) wheels.

they come with the RS package. At this point i wouldnt mess with the order, if its comes messed have the dealer fix it.

My window sticker online is showing 20" Painted Aluminum Wheels, but my invoice copy I got yesterday says Midnight Silver. As some have said, the MS wheel is a painted wheel, it's just a darker finish than the standard painted aluminum wheel. The PA wheel is the base wheel and when you add the RS, it changes to MS unless you paid for the optional polished aluminum.
