They would do a very similar stunt on Fear Factor as well, but there I believe the driver may have been blindfolded as the passenger guided them up the ramp and into the trailer.

I don't really see what the big deal is. as they explain in the video, your wheels will automatically slow as you hit the ramp in order to match the velocity of the truck. you don't really have to do anything other than give it some gas and steer straight.
