2010 Camaro, 6.2 question

This may be a dumb question, but I will rest easier knowing what's up.
I have owned my 2010 Camaro for about 2 weeks now. I have noticed at startup after my car has sat for a while, I get some ticking in the engine. But it quickly goes away. But after that during the day, I don't get any ticking. And there is definitely no ticking after the initial startup. The engine runs smooth and strong and quiet. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this happen. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Casper

I think it has been mentioned before that it's the fuel pump running tests or something along those lines.

If it goes away after its started, it is most likely the lifters getting primed back up. This should be normal. These motors have hydraulic lifters, this should be normal. i noticed more ticking in mine when it was getting close to time to change the oil. After the oil change, now back to normal sound.

I get that too. I was like," who installed a cam shaft in my car while i was asleep". then again it sits in the garage without any attention for weeks.
