Kooks LT Headers, CAI Install with a tune at Straightline Performance

Just dropped my car off at Straightline performance in New Lennox, IL to install Kooks LT headers and CAI intake. They will also be tuning it and turning off DOD, which means; correct me if I'm wrong; no more 4 cylinder driving. From others who've done this., noticeable difference?

Yea I noticed my mpg go.....up

No joke with turning off AFM, adding headers, a cai, and other bolt-ons, my car has gained a mpg over stock.

So got a call from Nick at Straightline and already an issue!!!! Apparently the stock o2 sensors are on so tight that after he cracks them, they do not come out by hand and strip the o2 sensor, meaning I have to get new ones. Anyone else have this issue on a 2013?

It's AFM along with the DOD that gets tuned out and yes, I loved it!!! Also have them tune out most of or all of the torque management in the tranny!!! You will pick up a ton of torque and horse power in the lower to mid RPM's!!! Have fun!!!

Dave correct me if I am wrong, but if they turn off DOD then AFM will never kick in. Also torque management are you referring to the better response on the throttle?

You don't pick up any rwhp or rwtq when you tune out / turn down torque management. The car just reacts differently.

Just 1 or all 4? I could see 1 getting stripped out but all 4 means the tech doesn't have a clue what he's doing!
