Will a V8 M6 swap to a V6 M6

just wondering if the trans can be adapted from a vette or a SS. Can the V6 bellhousing be bolted up to a V8 trans. They shift so much smoother.

You need to swap the rear portion of the driveshaft, the axles, and the hubs.
There are a few threads on this. I think with the M6 V6 its just a matter of swapping gears as you should already have LSD and SS gears are compatible with your car. I have an auto so I am stuck either having to swap to an SS rear end or 3.55 gears.

No....bolt pattern on the bell housing is totally different. I'll PM you the fix for the trans shifting though.
