LPO stripe package costs $470 which I assume does not include installation. If that is the case, how much are the dealerships charging for putting the stripes on? TIA!

its included. Now this is if you ordered the car. Now if you ordered a stripe package after youve had the car, then I dont know what they will charge

My friend/salesman told me that they are charged $200 to have them applied. He said GM must be giving them credit for the service. He also said that the installer charges $200 because of the time it takes to do the hood stripe.

The dealer gets $140 from GM.Our Stripe person agreed to do it for that ,but she normally get $200 for mustangs and challengers.

LPO price definitely includes installation. MSRP on the stripe kit part(s) alone is $395 but you can get the entire kit from GMPartsDirect.com for $287.56 + shipping.
