Does anyone know when will the dealers get new/more allocations? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi all, like many of you I have my order in but it's sitting at 1100 until my dealer gets more allocations. Do you guys have any idea as to when GM will be authorising more allocations to the dealers? From what I read on various threads and posts, some say it varies and could be one or more a month, other threads say GM will give more allocations at the 3rd quarter, hence september or so.

My dealer already got more allocations though I don't know how many they got. All I know is that I was NOT part of the original allocation of 4 (I'm number 8) yet I went to 3000 a couple weeks ago. They at least got 4 more based on that.

Allocations are weekly

It kind of depends on if the dealer is large or small. Larger, and more sales=more allocations. Should be a monthly thing more or less, when they're given more (from what I'm told). Find out where you are in line also.

Thanks for the answers guys, I am number 4 in line at the dealer for upcoming allocations. Looks like, there's hope I will be going through a set of tires before the winter hits, and I am not talking about winter tires here, lol.
