Blinking CEL Camaro V6 LFX 2014

Hello. Changed oil on Sunday (mobil dexos 5w30), gassed up (87), took the car for a spin, everything was alright.

Monday comes, and I occasionally get flashing CEL on acceleration. It blinks a dozen times, then goes away.

from this thread, http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=331871
its hinted that there's a misfire. I've set up an appointment with Hawthorne Chevrolet for Thursday.

39,000 miles on the car right now. Only mod is a catch can.

What can I expect at the dealership? Will the repair be expensive?
Has anyone else had this happen and can share their experience?

thanks!

Rawr,
Kev

I did some searching and saw the scanned document. thanks!

and funny thing is. I fixed the blinking CEL problem.

You're not gonna effin believe it, it was a loose engine coolant cap. It's not the radiator cap, but the fill cap on the left of the engine. I tightened it, and the engines running normal again.

Scratching my head on this one.

Powertrain is still under warranty even if 36/36 bumper to bumper is not. They may require you to pay diagnostics, but should reimburse you as long as it is powertrain related (which an engine misfire is powertrain, and should be covered as long as it's not from a mod)
Make sure the catch can's empty before going in
and a flashing MIL is always a misfire
