Whats the best exhaust for a V6 camaro?

I'm looking to put an exhaust on V6 RS.

I want something pretty good, but not crazy expensive.

I'm not looking for just straight up noise. Nothing I hate more than a clumsy sounding exhaust thats just trying to put out as much volume as possible.

But I definitely want it to be louder than what I have now. I'd like a clean growl. I want it to be as loud as possible without it sounding bad, you know?

Anyway trying to keep it under 700 for the part, so any suggestions would be great

The two most popular that we carry are the MRT v2 and Borla axle back. Both are within the price range you mentioned and sound great. They are louder than stock but not obnoxious and have a much deeper tone. Below is a video we filmed a while back of the Borla and we will be filming a MRT v2 video this weekend. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up or give us a call at the number in my signature.

I love my Borla. Feel free to ask me any questions about it. That is my Ruby in Chase's video. I also have videos of her at wot on the drag strip if you are interested.

Ark N-II catback. One of the more aggressive exhaust systems, but sounds beautiful. A few days ago, a guy driving a maserati complemented the sound of my car.

You will get hundreds of opinions as we all think our sounds the best. It will depend on your budget. Do you want Axle back, or Cat back, what is your end goal.

Best suggestion is to check out this thread, sit back with a set of headphones and take a listen. Then find someone that you can check out there sound.

Me personally, I like this one.

I was thinking about what exhaust to go with for a long time and I choose the MRT V2. Here are the reasons why I went with it.

1) it's really well priced. At 550 you can't really find anything cheaper that matches its quality.

2) it sounds amazing. At first I was a worried I wasn't going to like it because I hadn't really heared it to much in person and which everyone complaining about drone it did have me worried. After the install though I knew I made the right move. I has a Loud deep rumble at cold start up but becomes quiet with low rumbles at idle but when you step on it it gets loud again. In my opinion the best sounding system for the V6

3) in the future I plan on changing my mid pipes to a larger diameter with some LT so I didn't care that it was an axel back. For right now I just wanted something to make the car sound nice till my warranty is done.

Hope this helps and if you do decide to go with the V2 or something else definitely hit up Apex motorsports (Apex Chase). They have awesome customer service, prices, and ship very fast.

Drive SOLO cat back, best sounding for an LLT with positively no drone ! The price and service beats all the rest ! Get rid of those OEM trash cans !
