I copied and pasted the information except to type.......This is an incredibly fun event for a great cause! It’s “Corvette Club Sponsored” not exclusive. Yes, highway speeds are achieved “and then some”. But the high speed banking is something everyone should check off their Camaro bucket list! There’s also a non vehicle specific FB page with more details——public group “Vettes 4 Vets”. Please read on.....

“Vettes4Vets is set for May 26, 2018 at Talladega Super Speedway. This is our 10th year as Vettes4Vets. We have raised over $300,000 for Gold Star Families, 3 Hots and a Cot for Homeless Veterans, Folds of Honor, Saving Forgotten Warriors, Wounded Warriors at Lakeshore Foundation and many more.”

“For $100 you get 5 laps at Talladega. If you register before Jan 1, you get a free V4V Talladega tee shirt or a V4V Hat. Subsequent sessions of laps are $75. Go to www.vettes4vets.org. See you at Talladega.”

“For those of you that are new to the event or haven't yet signed up here is a quick overview of the 2 day event. You can run any car (no not just corvettes) on the track. There is a lead pace car and a trailing pace car. There is no passing allowed but we are spaced out nicely and its organized very well so as to get a nice feel for what the track is like.”

If I lived within 1,000 miles I would be there. Tallageda is my favorite track, obviously, and I would love to get my car on there.
