A 10" rim with what offset up front?

If I want to run a 275/40/20 tire (Pirelli P Zero) on a 10" rim up front, what offset should I use to avoid any issues with rubbing because I will be getting American Racing Torq Thrust M with a +34 offset. Will this 100% for sure be OK? Its easier to ask on here then drive 40mins to a mechanic friend's house and actually put one of my rear tires/rim on the front.

If your only going to run the stock rear on the front, why go to a 10" wide wheel?

275/45-20 is usually ok on a 9 to 11 wide. the standard TTM front is 8.5 wide.

if you put a TTM 20x10 with 34mm OS on the front (assuming you have a 20x8.5 with 32mm OS now), the inside edge of the wheel will be moved .8" inward, and the outside edge will move .67" outward.

grab a tape measure and make sure you have at least those clearances around the front wheel.

I do have the 8.5" rim on the front. I will check with a tape measure to make sure. THANKS Sleez .

I go in for an OT shift tonight and laying in bed this afternoon trying to have a nap, I realized something. I'm looking at buying 2 10" rims ($600+). And another 2 275/40/20 tires. How much am I really giving up if I just put on 265/40/20 Pirelli's on the front? I could mount them on my 8.5" rims. They would be wider than the stock 245/45/20 tires. There should be absolutely no clearance issues. to me sometimes!!!!

265/40-20 just limits your tire choices a bit, and the overall diameter is just more than 1/4" smaller. around 3/4" wider.

they do make P-zeros in that size, but if you decide to go with another tire, your choices would be limited.

i wouldn't run the 275 on the 8.5 though!

if you decide to run the 10 on the front, and need a bit more clearance, you could use these; but i have a feeling they will be fine without.

i have a pair to use on the front if/when i decide to run the 19x10 GS wheels i have on the front.

Even though its a lot to go through, what would happen if I switched a front and rear wheel to see if there were any issues? The computer would flip out because of the sensors, but would everything reset itself when the correct wheels were back in place? If I tried one of my 10" TTM on the front, I would know for sure. I'm going to throw it by my mechanic friend at work Wednesday night. Thanks guys!!

should be fine, the diameters are really close, the TPMS won't match, but hey.

don't even need to really drive on it, just mount it, check full steer, and full suspension travel.

I didn't check how a rear wheel would fit on the front. I'm looking really hard at getting a different set of rims all together. I want to run 275's up front and 305's or 315's on the rear.

With stock struts and an offset of 34 for 10 inch wheel you won't clear the strut. I have an offset of 35 with coilovers and i clear them by 1/2 inch.

I clear with +35mm offset and 20x10s all around with 275/40 nitto. All depends on allignment out front. with neg 1 degree, its tight, but it clears. You go to neg 2 degree, I'd throw in a 5mm spacer...won't hurt anything.
